Volunteer in Ministry

There are multiple ways to volunteer at East Cross Church. Find the best fit for you below!

Greeting is such a great way to serve as you are the first person our guests see on a Sunday morning!  Come help us warmly welcome visitors, open doors, assist in any way needed and pass out bulletins.

On Sunday mornings, our Coffee Bar offers a variety of goodies for our guests to enjoy. From hot coffee, tea and snacks, our Coffee Bar is a great way to serve and interact with our guests.

Each Sunday, we provide transportation for those who need it. Join us in making sure those who want to worship with us get that opportunity!

Nursery Teachers sit with kids during large-group teaching time and come prepared to lead a small group utilizing a lesson plan provided. These are paid positions.

For vocalists that are willing to give of their talents. If you sing and love hymns, we’d love to have you join the East Cross Choir in our Traditional Service! The sanctuary choir rehearses on Wednesday nights at 7PM in the Chapel.

For musicians and vocalists that are willing to give of their talents. If you sing and/or play any instrument including drums, bass, piano, acoustic/electric guitar or other, apply for the music team! Involvement includes participation in any/all venues where music is supported. The Worship Band practices on Wednesday nights at 6PM in the Sanctuary.

Audio/Video technicians make sure the music and preaching are heard and seen with excellence and clarity. But don’t be intimidated, it’s not as scary as it sounds! Some of it is as easy as pushing a button.
