Coleen Williams

I have been a member of East Cross Methodist Church since 1993. I began slowly into the “life of the church” by becoming part of a United Methodist Women’s circle, where I met some wonderful women, and then was invited to teach an “Extended Sunday School” class soon after. I was officially hired to work as the “Nursery Director” in Sept. 1998; I occasionally subbed in the weekday early childhood center then shortly after beginning was asked to be it’s “Director’s Assistant” in June 2001; I then became the Director of East Cross Early Childhood Center on Nov. 15, 2002 and as of then I have worn these two distinct & different “hats”! This is a great position because, as I say to many families and my staff, “Where do you get to play with children & get paid to do it?”

I have been married for 30+ years to Ron and we have sons, Brice (and his wife Amanda) & Ryan who both live in the NE Oklahoma area! It’s always interesting to me where God leads each of us… it has been a true blessing working with SO many wonderful families and the great staff over these many years!
